Think after the trip I'll need a new transmission for sure. Noticed earlier that the squeaking noise which made me change the drive shaft bearings is still there, a bit different... only in second gear, and less loud in third, though.

Fucking E36 automatics, official note is that they don't need any looking after... yeah, my ass.

323? My old 36 was an Auto, bloody loved it, gear ratios were real nice I thought. Kick down took a while though..

The automatic is nice to drive, I really like it... just annoyed that it seems to be breaking down... then again it's at 250.000kms and has never been serviced as far as i know.
