You can get a chrome powder coat which is the same as powder coat prices too, never seen it in real life but found out when I was getting my centres stripped

I've never in my life seen a chrome rattle can spray a nice chrome finish. I tried some shit on some old bike parts I had and it came out grey, I liked the grey so left it and it started peeling a week later...

Up to you but I definitely wouldn't. Chrome powder coat or polish is what I'd do, polishing can be a mungrel sometimes but can give a crazy good finish
