Whatever your intent or ethos is, that article pretty much proved you know jack shit about the significance and importance of genuine wheels, let alone getting the point across in an article. Wealth may come with age, but knowledge is available to anyone (regardless of age. I don't buy this 'younger crowd can only afford reps bs, inform yourself).

I'm not saying the younger crows can ONLY afford replica's, I'm stating that that is where most younger people turn to, as they don't have money to spend, they don't see the value in keeping companies that truly support the "scene", as well as the fact as some don't find the knowledge soon enough, like myself. We also havent stated we are the know all and end all when it comes to modifications, we are a blog, somewhere to view pictures taken at events, to view videos shot at these places and read a bit about the event. Like I said, we ourselves are young, so we will continue to grow and obtain more knowledge as we go and learn about the right way from the wrong.

Yeah maybe some of us have and I have, but what I don't understand is why would you take a picture of a replica wheel with tacky fad boy illest stickers over the hubs and feature it especially when plenty of other great genuine wheels were out on display. Take a photo of it do what ever but when you feature it they think it's the right way to go.

You think we all had deep pockets and flogged out 3-5k on wheels? Most of us saved our money for weeks maybe even months. The topic of genuine wheels vs replicas is an ongoing debate and will never end, everyone has their reasons.

I think the issue here is that all these scene blogs need to cut the bullshit and stop trying to be Shakespeare. Just concentrate on covering events or featuring cars or whatever they need to do to sell lanyards and stop trying to be so deep and meaningful with every fucking caption unless it truly needs it. Going by your analogy the "female about to hit the town" would have been wearing a fake dress she bought at Dimmies.

And I'm not being biased here or having a go directly at you, a lot of the articles on the big name blogs are like this, which is why I usually just look at the pictures. If I want to read proper articles I'll buy a magazine that employs professionals to do it, and do it well.

Bought this t shirt the other day

Im still 20 and am rolling on genuine RS' s that came out as an option on some early GTRs, I even have a set of gwnuine group a turbos to go on it. They were hard enough to find.
I worked my ass off 6 days a week for a year straight to get it where it is.
I went through days wheree all I had left was $20 and the choice was lunch, fuel or ciggarettes.
Im going through it all again to bring the car back better than ever. Anyone can afford anything. It just depends on how bad you want it.
