Was this an off-season week? How long was your trip? Have you kept the car? What did it cost you?

Enough questions. More photos please now please
i just bought a 2 week pass for the trip, covered all local JR lines and Shinkansens
nah was the week leading up to Matsuri
trip was 2 weeks and yes I kept the car til I go again in April next year

EPISODE 5.5: MORE NORTH COURSE WITH VIDS AND G1

FOR MOST VIDS YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR RYAN TO CUT IT ALL TOGETHER OFF ALL THE GO PRO FOOTAGE SO BE PATIENT I ONLY HAVE A FEW OFF MY PHONE THAT I CAN POST UP
Fish and I were having a ball on North course for most of our time at Ebisu, getting closer and closer to each other and getting faster and faster, which also ended in a few slight collisions, one of which i hit fish from behind as he has no brake lights which dislodged his exhaust, in usual Fish style he bodged it up buy tieing a snatch strap into the hatch and around the exhaust GENIUS

crash number 2 was me smashing into Fish's door and rear quarter which gave fairly significant damage to his car but i came off quiet well thankfully with just a busted headlight and reo aswel as pulling a cooler pipe off, Ryan actually managed to get this on my phone from in the car, as you will hear in the vids aswel my car had got a massive exhaust leak by now and was running about 3-4psi so just GO FASTER!!!!!

Fish also managed to smash the inside of one of his wheels against a ripple strip, packed with sikaflex and she was good to go

This is just a random lap filmed from inside my car, can also hear the skirt dragging on the ground which managed to come off about 30 times

after a while this 180 missile arrived with his mate with an R32 SR20 coupe, they were consistently sticking together and sliding the wall every lap, so after watching i decided to try chase them

this guy was more than happy to pose for a pic

Robin had made his way upto North Course aswel, hed just previously gone backwards into the wall on School Course

another awesome car me and Ryan were mesmerized by was this Laurel, looked so good

these 3 guys were sharing 1 car, bad idea as 1 of them managed to rip the front wheel off along with everything attatched to it lol

EPISODE 6: G1GP AND CHECKING OUT MORE CARS

Friday was dedicated to G1GP, Locky, Billie, Fish and I all entered
We headed up to the track to find alot of pretty serious cars had entered which had me a little worried lol

after the drivers briefing and getting our show bags from Kumakubo and Suenaga full of awesome stuff we headed out to qualify, we had 3 laps each to decide who versus who, I mAnaged to do possibly the 2 worst runs ive ever done and then played it safe on the 3rd run to qualify 13th

this put me up against this car

i knew straight up I had no chance but gave it a crack anyway, suprisingly after 2 of the fastest runs the car could possibly do to keep up with him I forced a RE-run WOOOOOOOO!!!!
Unfortunatly I spun on my lead run handing him the win, ohwels. He went on to come 4th.

sitting in the line waiting for our runs in the heat was shocking

this was the deciding battle for 1st and 2nd place, Nic spun and Kumakubo commented that he was lucky not to roll the car

having 2 of the best drifters in the world judging my drifting was an experience in itself

here are the winners celebrating on the podium

heading back up to Powervehicles we checked out some cars we hadnt yet seen, it was at this point I came across this R32 PV had for sale, R32 GTST with rb25, hks turbo, greddy plenum, gtr guards bonnet bar ect aswel as lots of other goodies, i pondered wether to trade my r33 plus cash for it as i had a good look over it for about an hour i think

I didnt go through with it coz im a pussy

this supra had a real circa 200 look about it

we also lent the americans a hand, they blew the gbox in there Cefiro and the 1 hoist at Powervehicles already had a car on it so they improvised, stack a pile of tires and seats on one side and flip it on its side? Easy!! AMERICA f**k YEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

suprisingly they swapped it out pretty quickly and go back out on the track

EPISODE 7: THE CARS AT NISHI AND D1 PRACTICE

in this episode we headed down to Nishi Long Course whcih has a MASSIVE first corner, you pretty much clutch enter and just stay on the throttle most of the way round til it starts to tighten up and need slow right down for a pretty tight corner, after watching for a bit I was slightly hesitant to give it a go as if you stuff it up theres a big chance youre gna do some serious damage as its very high speed and the outside of the corner is just a dirt wall, Fish has no fear what so ever so he went straight out, after he went past i decided to just go out there but as i waited for him to come around agin i noticed a white car half way up the dirt hill, it was Fish haha

he managed to bury it pretty deep and the ebisu rescue crew had to come save him

suprisingly no damage, here is one of Fish's vids which also show the accident

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I only got to do 2 laps of this track unfortunatly with Ryan as passenger, think we both said to each other scariest entry ever, i have no eedo in the r33 but entering at about 5000rpm in 4th gear id estimate around 130kph? anyways i stuck the entry and was pretty damned happy

later on me and fish went out onto the track at night and were wondering why a new mx5 was on the track with us just driving around? slid passed him and didnt think anything of it............we got called in by the marshials to then realise we had gone out drifting in a Time Attack session haha

on the saturday morning they had a big entry comp on the same track, we headed down to check it out, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! these guys were entering so fast it was rediculous, Daigo Saito was out in his JZX90 and was the best thing ive ever seen

heres a vid from that morning

Some Raw footage from the Summer 2012 Drift matsuri of Daigo Saito and his crew coming in all gangster on the West course at Ebisu circuit Japan. My blog : ht...

and some of the cool cars that were in the pits at Nishi

as usual we headed back to North Course lol

                            i popped some more tires

and added them to the pile outside Powervehicles

then we ate HamburG at the Ebisu Cafe thingy

and left Fish a note where i hit him

theres not many well done R33's around but seeing this one was awesome, 2 tone done well with BBS LM's, loved it

this white 180 was consistent on every single course at ebisu and was great to watch

one of the D1 guys was using Panasports as his skid wheels.....................pric

this was during the big entry comp and watched it all happen, 180sx driver came in realy hot, going up the embankment and rolling the car

suprisingly he was fine and after a good hose down in the pits, he started it back up and drove out haha

RWD WRX was cool to see sliding around the track

another accident on Nishi was this S14 that was lucky not to roll also

after all the action ive never wanted to drive as much as i did at that point
                            off to North Course lol

or maybe just cruise around on a stupid bike?

this is the edit ryan made of us

EPISODE 9: OUR TIME IN SHIBUYA

After saying our goodbyes to all the Powervehicles crew we got our bus to Nihonmatsu station on the monday morning after matsuri, Billie and Fish got some snacks and we were on our way

after a few confusing train rides we arrived at our hotel for the week, recommend the place for anyone that wants cheap accomodation

dumped all our shit in the rooms and started to explore, first off we needed food, Jacob had stayed at the Sakura Hotel before on a previous trip so new a few places around the area, this is where i found my one true love in life, MOSS BURGER!!!!

these burgers are amazing, peice of tomato is nice crisp and fresh, the sauce juicy, the cheese always perfectly melted, so perfect

having spent the whole first week at a race track I hadnt seen any modded cars driving around on the streets yet, this was the first, realy clean 180sx on Nismo wheels

we hopped on a train and headed into Shibuya as Jacob said they had a good night life
Jacob also proceeded to make this lady feel realy uncomfortable

was late afternoon by this time and we just wanted to explore, so we just walked and walked and walked, the city is just non stop, being a Monday i wasnt expecting anything spectacular to be happening but how wrong i was, the only way to explain it is every night on the streets anywhere is like a full on Saturday night in the city in melb

at this point it was starting to get dark and it was were we got introduced to our first "Donkey Hotel" its sort of a mega store that has everything, was 6 levels of anything you can think of from Loui Vuitton to motor bike helmets, to porn and alcohol

                              drinks were so cheap

                              they had cool helmets too

i dont know how but we ended up in this small area with realy tight street and alot of seedy looking shops, pretty sure this was a brothel

found an arcade so some of the guys decided to play some games

walking the streets theres so many people on bikes and scooters, the streets were swarmed with them

that was our night in Shibuya, strongly advice people to check it out if youre in Japan it was great place
