I'm down for organizing a rally against this shit. The laws are screwed in Australia. I've been pulled over more times that most of you have had hot dinners. I was pulled over twice by 2 different police cars with 250m once...and defected for no water in my washer bottle...WTF. The first cop loved my car and he said it was nice and low! the next cop was a fagget. this was 2am btw and I was doing 60 in a 60...

I was driving through and intersection yesterday and the lights were out. There were police directing traffic and one officer spots me, points and yells out "Raise your car you bloody idiot" seriously...I wasn't speeding or riding up some guys arse just cruising along low and slow. Its crap.

I'm thinking a Friday night (nice and busy!) I would like to make it invite only as we don't want tool bag dickheads there. I'll message some people because I know this shit is just getting ridiculous!

My mate Matt told me that he was driving around in the UK his golf. He got stuck on a speed bump...a cop was driving past and he asked for help and they just called him an idiot for having such a low car and told him to fix it himself! Wish cops did that here!

best piece of advice I can give is to try n get pulled over on the eastern freeway in peak hour. when the TMU car signals to pull over, head left towards the bus lane. once you're there, headcheck and perfectly co-ordinate for the bus to collide with the cop car in the far left bus lane.

so far - 100% success rate.

If you can't beat em - TROLL EM.

    ^do it.

and great find on that article Vyet.

It's funny how the majority of cars picked up by cops for impound are commodores and generally old rust buckets and also p plater's parents cars. whats the bet we see an impound lot full of built jap cars? unlikely.

problem is there is a HUGE group of young people who like the HOON tag and like to rebel. I'm all for these idiots to get their cars taken, but people trying to work within the law to do the right thing and get dicked in the process.....not cool.

in regards to the topic of this thread - I think going to the US to live would be perfect for you Ox, couldn't see a better future for you anywhere but there, you'll love it. go for it dude fuck melbourne. I''ll be gone from here in the next few months anyway.

Pretty much spot on man, they don't give a fk and even if there was a burnout pad and it was free they will still hoon and it's these idiots that get the rest of us targeted.

ORLY!? Too bad it's not in Vic..

The whole Hoon thing make my blood boil.

My Dad has been working for the past 2 years with local council and his car club PIARC to give something back to the car community. He says fair enough driving aorund doing skids is probably not the best thing to do but where are the places to do it???

They give drug users safe injecting rooms where do car people get?

We have the following car places:

    - Philip Island
    - Sandown
    - Winton
    - Heathcote
    - Calder
    - DECA
    - Huanted hills
    - Rob Roy
    - Plus a few dirt circuits.

To compete at any of these venues you need to get there, pay an entry fee, and for most have some form or CAMS, AASA or ANDRA license. To most blokes this is too much $$$ ot too much effort, you can juts drive 15mins and hit up a local industrial estate. The average entry fee to these places is around $150+ and you will also need a track worthy car which im sure your average commodore or ke70 with a welded diff wont pass.

Not everyone is as lucky as me to have a father who is a racing instructor and iv driven on tracks since I was 14 years old.

The government/Police/do-gooders want "hoons" off the street how about giving there some where to go.

Absolutley agree with what Lukes said. Cops or Vic police are just hypocritical paper pushes who unfairly target modified rides just cause where easy to spot and it make them 'look' like there bettering the community to get us 'hoons' of the road while really the fuckers are just revenue making, not doing there jobs and commercializing this incorrect definition of hooning when 90% of the ppl ive met in our community do the correct thing. I ve seen more taxi drivers and ppl our parents age cut off, run reds and cause accidents!!

i cant even go past 40 k's without my guards scrubbing my guards so much that my bumper pops out let alone speed or do burnouts!! *sad face*

def need to flood the hoon hotline and FB page for the WIN!!!

Vyet, they can check to see if a car is defected, after mine I was tailed by cops on prinny, they didn't even pull me over.

I'm gonna get a sticker made up for the civic, "Quick, call hoon hotline!!" With the number on there and all.

LOL. This would be epic. Just parking there. no driving hard or pullin skids, just rolling into the intersection slowly and hardparking 20-30 cars and protesting. shirts on. kfc in hand.

    game over.
