if this is to me.

a friend of dads is friends with the guy selling the car. who found out he was trading it in on a new nissan navara and only getting $2k for it. so we got in contact with him and checked it out, drove it etc. asked how much he wanted, said $2k which is the same for the trade in price. score!

it turned out he was a used car salesman at work lol
