Passed a couple of honda legends on the way down to bairnsdale, just keep waiting for them to air out and nothing happens

thought a wheel was falling off my car at 110km/h as it started crabbing and going sideways on a straight section of road. full shat my pants, pulled over and checked all the wheel bolts, seemed fine. another car and truck pulled up just further up the road from me, truck driver seemed to be checking his wheels/tyres too, guessing there was a serious oil patch or something.
