hmmm Question for those who have played around with 3 piece wheels

If I Paint my BBS RS bolts what are the chances of the paint chipping durring re-assembly?

Otherwise does anyone know someone who can anodise bolts?

thats what i was thinking that paint would chip, but i have seen a few sets of RSs with painted bolts which makes me hope that it is possible...

I heard that using a fibreglass socket instead of metal one is much easier on the paint and prevents the chipping..

Ended up painting my wheels bolts ghetto style, used an engine enamel and luckily the paint didn't flake/chip. Torqued up properly too. Mine used a 12pt bit rather than a socket though.





I reckon if you torque the nut end it should minimise the chances for chipping/flaking.
