this is what I did today...

'06 commodore, '12 gts bonnet. Customer wanted it and is paying for it. unfortunately its not as straight forward as we would have liked.



as you can see, the gts bonnet is different.







standard bonnet has the lines that match the bar...



so we decided to graft the front onto the gts bonnet...



Unfortuately we couldnt but-weld the front on, because the gts bonnet is taller. So we fucked with it. cut into the metal, and pop riveted it to hold it in place to start the welding.. My job was to get it to this point, after this it will be all welded up and massaged into place.







Ill get some pics once its welded up and primed etc.
