second place looks a lot more promising especially with what was said about the first place. the first place sounds like a set of bbs replicas "looks" flashy and is junk and second place is like a set of genuine rs' that need refurb and will look amazing afterwards.

If done right it's all good usually, but need to look at why it failed in the first place, could just be a case of Shit footing (lazy tradies) or may be a issue with water or soil.

what does underpinned mean? as fair as i know the slab just moved as abit and its now 99% perfect with guarantee. real estate said theres like a 2/3 of an inch thick pile on documents about the whole job and shit to do with the slab, which would be provided to us, and the building inspector when we choose one and shiznit. deffinetly not rushing! taking our time as we are in a stable place now with no rush to get out. coming into spring im assuming more houses will start coming onto the market compared to autumn and winter. it can be draining going to open houses all the time haha. what did you guys get screwed over with, if you dont mind me asking?

I forgot to check the fences matched up with the title. I just assumed this was what we were paying a surveyor to do. Seems no one checked it.
And forgot to check one of our conditions of sale was actually completed. Caused a few headaches, left my gf a few hundred out of pocket, wasted a Shit load of time which put other things on hold.

Haven't had time to start the Beetle. Pretty much just a painted rolling shell at the moment.
But should probably try push to get it passed before the changes.
