Police are currently at the scene of a fatal collision that has claimed the life of a pedestrian in Glen Waverley tonight.

It’s believed the 74-year-old Glen Waverley woman was crossing High Street Road just after 6pm when she was struck by an east bound vehicle.

The woman sadly died at the scene.

No one else was injured during the incident

oh and as per ig, taxi swiped the crv last night. I was standing outside, it happened right infront of me. I think the plate was 0529ps, but i cant be sure.... not much I can do, hopefully it buffs out.
