I'm definitely considering keeping it reg'd in SA for as long as possible. Nets me in the way I can't get defected, but can get fines instead.

My first comment was somewhat straight to the point. With SA plates, I cannot get defected due to our defect system being different (we don't have RWC's) whereas places that do have RWC's can still receive defects from VICPOL.

Case in point, when I got pulled over in the Subaru. HWP couldn't give me a defect so he gave me $800's worth of fines instead.
