Just wish this damn driveshaft was seating properly. I don't even know why Subaru do some things they do.
What you mean seating properly?
Sarcasm is easily calculated on vortex dude. Take 4 parts GLI lip and divide by BBS RS. If you are left with a remainder, subtract it from omgmoarlow. Profit.
It appears someone found it on your site Seb, if my memory serves me right? Nice work on the GC8 too, I've got a similar year Forester so I'm watching your build with keen interest!
Its been a full week and no matter what i try i cannot remove the crank pulley. Really really depressed .................................................. ..........
Big rattle gun will hopefully do the trick. If you have to resort to the starter trick just make sure you know which way your engine rotates so when you do it the breaker bar hits the ground and not the car lol
There's a thing on the back that goes into the hub like a locating ring, just need to get that in place and then we will be dandy.
From mucking around with the Honda, it sounds like they are both similar. There is a circlip on the inner cv of the axle, which has to 'pop' into place. What i did was just hammer/tap the axle from the outter side, and it just pops in. Not sure if its the same, but they are designed to just pop in i beleive
