When I was playing with VW engines, flat fours and shit, I was told that if I lightened my flywheel without balancing the crank and shit, it doesn't really help that much...

Well i dont think that it doesnt help, more so the point that its not using itself to the full potential. And when most people talk 'light' flywheel, the normally talk about 3-4 kg off the original, im just curious if a 1.5-2kg will make any diff. First world problems LOL.
