Really.....why so expense? It's just over half that from Europe/UK($400ish), but I guess it also depends on sizes. If you're in no rush and want to save, see if they do a sea option.

Wheels from america have always been pricey because unless you search long and hard for a shipping company that has space in a container, and you can organise shipping to socal, air is the only way. my ccw's cost about $800 from florida, and my mugens cost about $1k from california lol.

Once im over there on a more permanent basis Ill try and organise a cheaper sea option for fellow peeps. A lot of us companies cant be fucked shipping internationally either.

Cus houses are fuck off expensive in Canberra. Think minimum $500,000 for pretty much anything worth buying, and I don't exactly have a house deposit sitting around.

thats pretty standard pricing these days being close to any major city.... Dunno bout canberra, but down here there are a couple companies that work with you with less than 5% deposit..
