I dunno.....a slightly taller and wider/less stretched, or meaty stretch could work really well. I liked that look on my 6, although they're a bigger car and can get away with meat. Heaps of people with 6's(overseas) ran a smaller profile, or 18's, but I felt mine sat nice on 17's with a wider/taller tyre....drove really nicely too. But I don't think it's the wheel size, it's more the tyre size with your setup.

Yeah, I feel as though you're partly right with that.

However, the car itself can't get low enough in my eyes on the coilovers to pull off 17's. I think if I was on 18's, this height and the wheel gap would be a lot smaller. See how we go.

So, I decided to build an engine for my MX-5, and for that I need a get around car for when I take the engine out, so I bought a car... that I need to build, so that I can build the current car I have. I think I have a problem.
