      • Seb, you have to make that photoshop a reality.

Remove sway bar, remove sump, acquire badges, acquire fapper status.

I'm going to attempt tonight, see how we go.

Waiting on badges still. As for the removal of the sump, maybe a sump protector is necessary.

          • Vortex sump delete

edit: or something like this http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2102397/

I'm sure the VW guys will know what's what in that regard, there might be better ones out there?

Ahaha Vortex sump delete for sure!

Yeah, I saw that on ECS, I read somewhere that it removes the oil level sensor though, which isn't a good thing...

See what happens. If I crack the sump within a few days/weeks, I'll invest.

                  • Going to finish up the cold air intake install tonight, got half way but then realised I had to jack the car up and I was drained by then.

Seriously need the Ferrari badges to rock up.

And decide whether or not I jump up to a 45 profile tyre all round. I need to get the rear at the right height before I do anything wheel wise though.

                      • Needs more skinny wheel vw content on this page
Sarcasm is easily calculated on vortex dude. Take 4 parts GLI lip and divide by BBS RS. If you are left with a remainder, subtract it from omgmoarlow. Profit.

Very close! Chop probably isn't driveable. Funny to see the difference in the chop and real life, you can see how the rear wheels move forward IRL when you drop it.

Yeah, you're probably right, that and I can't get any lower unless I remove a locking ring up front. See what happens. But yeah, the rear wheels definitely pull forward!

Aha why did you stop modifying your Golf?

                            • Because it rode like absolute shit (cheap Hottuning coils) and even though it looked cool it was still slow as fuck haha. Plus I sold all the shit (wheels/tyres/coils/swaybar) and put the money into the Datto.

But I think the budget coils that are available now are a lot better than what was around when I had mine. Still, it's nice to have a practical daily sometimes, flying over speedbumps and not having to shit myself when cops roll past is great.

                              • Ah fair enough! Mines slow as fuck too, especially now that I'm driving around shitting myself when all I can hear is my driveshafts rubbing on the subframe...

As for cops, I'm somewhat excited to roll past them. It's been way too long having that feeling, it's like being on a rollercoaster. But I am going to miss flying over speed bumps!
