I don't know if you'll remember this (judging by the red P's) but back when these things were newish, Herrod took one and made their own XR8 out of one (remember Ford weren't selling utes with V8s between XE and I think AU) so it was kind of a big deal. Pretty sure it was in Street Machine magazine, dark blue with white FR18's, looked awesome.

thanks a lot boys, I really appreciate that you like it Dad and I built it over two years in the back shed and we did everything ourselves including bodywork and paint. it's not quite finished yet but thats due to my small budget. The next mods on my list are a twin exhaust system (one out each side, 250's sound alright with a well thought out system), manual trans, a lot of work in the interior and pretty up the engine bay a little more. I actually hadn't heard of that herrod xr8 build before anth, i think i'm going to have to research it because it sounds very cool. herrod have had a few great builds over the years. seeing your in melbourne I hope to see you around
