  • Another noob with a Lexus

Yup, another new guy. My name is Corey and I live in Missouri. I've been browsing for awhile, but finally got my car to a point where I feel like I can post.

Like most people, the fitment bug bit AFTER I bought wheels. So I had to make it work. Hoping to pick some new wheels up during the winter!

These are from yesterday (I'm still trying to learn how to edit pics...)

    Annnnd... My mods.

    Exterior
    15% Tint
    DIY Satin Black Emblems
    DIY Satin Black Fog Lights
    DIY Satin Black Head Lights
    JDM Altezza Antenna
    JDM Altezza Window Visors
    L-Sportline Grille with Emblem
    L-Tuned Replica Sideskirts (VIS)
    L-Tuned Replica Rear Lip (VIS)
Red Out Third Brake Light (Trunk Spoiler)
Satin Black Tail Lights with Chrome Rings (Done by Nick)
    TRD Replica Front Lip (VIS)

    Interior
    Grom Audio iPod Adapter
    JDM Non Smokers Box
    Led Dome Light
    Led Door Lights
    Led Map Light
    Led Trunk Lights
*All-Weather Floor Mats (For Bad Weather/Winter)

    Lighting
Polarg B1 Hybrid Red 7443 Tail Light Bulbs
Nokya Hyper Yellow 9005 High Beam Bulbs

    Performance
Blitz Nur Spec Axel Back (Extended to fit USDM Rear Bumper)

    Suspension and Brakes

    5 Speed LSD
    BC Racing Coilovers (12k/10k)
    Cusco Upper A Arms
Figs Mega Arms (Rear Lower Control Arms)
    Tanabe Sustec Front Sway Bar
    Tanabe Sustec Rear Sway Bar

    Wheels and Tires
    Falken FK452 215/40/18 (front) 235/40/18 (rear)
    Ray’s Extended Lug Nuts (Blue)
    SSR Carbon Fiber Center Caps
SSR Professor MS1 in Gold 18x8 +37 Normal Disk (front) 18x9 +37 Super Low Disk (rear)
    20mm Ichiba V2 Spacers (front)
    10mm Ichiba V1 Spacers (rear)

I feel like it needs to be lower... Especially the rear, but my coilovers are as low as they'll go unless I loosen up the preload. So I'm kinda stuck with it as is. It doesn't help that the overall diameter of my tires differ by half an inch

Brake upgrades are next, then a couple more suspension pieces, new wheels, and MOTOR work.

    Comments/critcism is welcome

    Damn, nice setup.

I love your front lip with the black outline. Makes your car look like a skull. So sinister looking.

i know this site is about going the extra mile, but to my, in my opinion that stance is perfect. of course for 8" wides and a daily driver. the color combo is sick as hell, and step lips ALWAYS win for me!

I figured regular paint would work. I just didn't know if there were any tricks to it lol.
I'll end up doing that though!

I know what you mean. I really tried to sell this set over the winter. I was going to buy another set in 18x9 and 18x10 and have the same fitment but smaller tires. Stupid company said my quote was an "error" when I made one final check on the price before I finalized my sale, and it made the price go up by $700. I expected to pay about $400 but instead would have had to pay $1,000 out of pocket.

So I kept them lol. I really wish I could buy wider lips for them, but the inner and outer barrels are welded together. I'm hoping to get something figured out this winter though!
