Well, I come from a background of motorcycling since I was 18 and actually didn't really get into the car scene until now even though cars were always a passion; I have a preference to them over motorbikes any day.
I am 20 going through college to become a civil engineer and am doin this all without any parental help financially, so all you lucky bastards that get get help I'm jealous lol. So, obviously money is tight and cars are way more expensive to modify then bikes.
Here's the last bike I owned did a decent restoration because it was a pile when I got it, everything was pretty much custom because there is no aftermarket for it including that exhaust, and this bike had the most amazing exhaust noise I've ever heard.

First car was a 87 fiero gt that was a $350 barn find that hadn't run in 10 years, fixed it so it ran well, sold it for $1300 after a month.
Next car was a 92 mr2 that changed my life. Bought it this January for a project build. It was great 110k on the clock smogged ac working etc for 2k. Then come a couple months later and I smashed it into a tree at 40mph on a very curvy road in the rain. Somebody clipped the double yellow line tried to move the car and felt the car snap in the rear; anti roll bar broke where it met the shocks. The car snapped tried to correct it and then tree lol. The accident left me blind for a few days and destroyed my vision and now have to wear glasses because of the airbag. Sold it for parts recouped 1k from it. Car was completely twisted after.

Then of all things my best friends mom smashed into my bike and was forced to sell it as a precaution to my well being.
So I decided I'm just going to stick with cars lol.
And after lots of losing money I bought a car that I really had no intention of ever buying because I dislike american cars, especially vettes, and i still do lol, I bought a 92 lt1 6 speed vette. Hey at least it's my favorite body style. I think these old vettes have good potential imo, relatively fast, easy to work on, simple, and fairly cheap. I'll be posting in the build about it.
