I have a 1997 s10, it's stock everything. Needs some help and I can't find the resources or time to do what I want. It needs to be lowered, and something is definitely wrong with either the body mounts, the engine mounts, belt or something. I don't know anything about this truck and I'd love to have gotten a honda because I at least know how to break down and rebuild. This truck is the V6 Vortec engine, LS extended cab body, T5 tranny, and is rough. First vehicle, not insured, I really need some help with some quick simple stuff to do to it to make it look clean. I'm spray bombing the body at the current time, and I know my way around a can of flat spray paint, I can use tools, and I'm getting frustrated with the freaking thing. It's gonna eventually be a teal with the flat black roof, hood, and center spot between the bed and the body, and there is no tailgate. Could somebody just lend a few tips to me. I work at Turkey Hill and don't even make enough to get the stuff I want to make it look any bit nice. I'm crying out for help, and dude, I need it.
    Wheel gap must be ELIMINATTEEEDDDDD.

If it's already that beat up, make it a rat. Instead of painting it, rust the shit out of it.
It's like rock-crawling... in the streets...
