That Volvo is so rad. Part of me screams out to go snatch up one... the other says one project is enough.

Rented a grill, loaded the surfboards & headed to Jersey for a Volvo meet last weekend. I also put wood grain shelf liner paper on the hood for a laugh. The hood is black, but it's headed to the body shop for a little work here in a month.

The car is running really well right now, but I'm getting ready to put on a better cylinder head after it gets back from the machine shop.

started a topic Volvo wagon introduction

    Volvo wagon introduction

I've been building this wagon for the past 5 years & finally (with some good help) finished it this spring.

B21FT engine w. factory forged internals, .60 trim garrett turbo, 3" stainless turbo back exhaust w. Magnaflow muffler, Koni red adjustable shocks in back, Bilstein HD struts up front on unknown brand lowering springs and Kaplhenke camber plates. OMP stress bar with Volvo strut to firewall braces, Borbet 16" copper painted wheels & Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 205/50/16's.
You may have seen it at the 2012 Carlisle Import Nationals this year where it made the 800 mile round trip only 1 month after putting it back together.

    Here's a before picture:

    how it sits now:

I have a set of 17x8 wheels which should be on the car in August and I still have a few bugs to work out before then. I may even cut a coil off each spring if I can get the exhaust tucked up a little higher.
Working...
