Yeah, when I went to this truck show TexMex everyone was telling me to do the Mustang II swap, but I'm still in college so that won't happen for a while. I finally finished it though. It's sitting 6.5/8.5, as low as my avatar but that's just 'shopped for reference. I need to take some new pics.

I'm having trouble with it scraping driveways and speedbumps on the radius arms. I need to find a way to fabricate tube arms and smaller brackets.

Well that's why I also suggested crown vics. They are starting to be a popular (and much cheaper) alternative to a mustang II. You can go to just about any junkyard and get an 80s or mid 90s crown vic front end dirt cheap.

Is it a crossmember with a-arms attached?

I believe so basically take the whole front clip plasma yours off and weld it on. I think a few beam ford guys did it on street source check there.

any CrownVic, Grand Marquis and Towncar are the same for the front, You may want to go with 91+ though as they have nice A-Arms. If you want to know anything about the front suspension just let me know. I have a Towncar thats Juiced.

Thanks for the info. She's sitting 1" off the ground from the front bumper, 2" off the ground from the radius arms that hang 3" from the truck - 5" off the ground from the cab and cant go lower. I may look into this for swapping to A-arms, it would help me get a lot lower and get rid of the stupid radius arms. I'm also going to be trimming about 2-3" up into my fender to widen the front fender opening to allow me to run bigger tires, lower, and still turn with a static stance.

Right now I'm currently deciding between 235/60/15's stretched on 9.5's or 275/50/15's on the 9.5's. 26.1" and 25.4" tall tires respectively.

Are there many options for drop A-Arms and springs for a static drop on those cars?

Okay, despite better judgement and knowing people will freak out, I did some brainstorming and made a really bad paint rendering of the final outcome of how the truck will look. I'm about to start ordering cosmetic parts for it and thought I'd throw it up on here for suggestions/comments. Obviously the whole truck is going to be the same color (as the bed), it will have the wheels in my avatar and it will have both of the same projector headlights, but I'm pretty happy with the way it will look.

I'm trying desperately to modifty it, keep within the stanceworks/hella/canibeat/illest etc scene and not look like a truck from mexico. I cant think of anything else to add or subtract other then this hilarity:
