    pokin through, thought id say hello
    in the middle of rebuilding a odd set of RS's i salvaged off a buddies car, they were pretty beat up. two 005's, a 006, and a 211. ive got 3 90% done, gotta ditch the 6" barrel for a 5.5" barrel and then kinda stumped until i find somebody that will part with a 2" slant. or go a whole different route with steppies
    merrrrrrr....b4








    and a special build i kinda just stumbled into.... 17x9 3 piece RX2's.
    16" mk4 jetta wolfsburg BBS RX2 face
    7x17" barrel and 2x17" stepped lips front and rear. the barrels are ultra lightweight, like ten lbs or less, no joke. and still contemplating on going larger with the lips cause these assemble a lil differently than rs's. the face sits on the outside of the lip and uses a backing ring for the wheel bolts to grab. one thing for sure, these are very interesting to me, once color chosen and finished, i think ill just keep them in my living room.

        whats the difference between all the rs's (005, 006, and 211)?
        im unfarmiliar with what those number mean....

        wheels all look good tho man nice work!

            THE 005, 006, 211, ect is the RS model number. BBS made upwards of 300 different RS wheels for differnt makes and models of cars (differnt combinations of bolt patterns with the face, inner barrel width, and outer lip width.)

              cause we all love pictures and stories

              the RS's are going on my mk3 glx. the rx2's were ment for my project mk4 jetta but i sadly had to let the car go due to botched theft job that left it lifeless and me giving up after 6yrs with the car. the car went thru 3 stages. all done myself. or with help of friends.
              started black: simple bolt ons, tuner mods, starter DIY mods, ect




              then after mother nature taking a beating on the car for 4 yrs, and other factors, i decided to change the color and go with a robust theme. a simple olive drab color, a camo hood, and of course a lil poke did the trick





              after the winter cleared up, a year after the army theme, i was bored. i was going to change it up again, this time almost everything.
              so i finished the custom pzwo front bumper i was working on for a year and a half. i loved it and so did everybody else. i had the ugly ass rieger m3 sideskirts so i had to get rid of those. i wanted something clean but something everybody didnt have. so i had to go custom. i fitted a set of bmw 325xi side skirts to my car and boxed/capped the ends to proper length. then heat formed them to get the curvature i needed. also again, i had the ugly ass rieger rear apron, i liked it when i had it but it had to go. i put the stock rear bumper back on and left it as is with the stock lip. now to fit those 17x9 rx2's while being really low with no problems, i needed clearance in and out. it was then i decided to pull the fenders. adding about and inch of outer fender clearance. link to my fender pull thread- http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...Fender-PULLING anywasy on to pics

              this is as far as i got with the rx2 on the mk4,


              heres the mk3. got it completly stock, within a week i had coilovers, recaro seats and the TT wheels on and its been like this ever since, almost a year.





              now when i get the rs finished i think they're gona make the car. thats when it gets its stance.
              here is another set of bmw wheels i had laying around. i set em out to get the "idea"


              i dont plan on doing much other than cleaning the body up really nice, an early vento front grille with a nice set of ecodes, and a euro rear tub. then im definitly gona be doing some fender pulling if i can find the space and time to do it.
