  • another bimmer :D

Hey all, I'm Kevin, a college student in North Carolina. I drive a 2010 Le Mans Blue BMW 135i and I've tracked it 3 times this year at VIR and also have driven once on Laguna Seca with the Skip Barber driving school. Anyway, on to the car:

    My mods currently are:

Active Autowerke exhaust, fmic, and bov
    Berk Technology resonated catless midpipes
BMW performance short shifter and black kidneys
    Stoptech BBK

now onto what matters in this forum:
Ground Control Complete Street/School Coilovers and Race Camber Plates

    Wheels (past and present)
    18x8/18x9 et45 et48 Alufelgen CS7s (sold)
    19x8/19x9 et45 et50 Advan RZs (sold)
    18x8/18x9 et45 et50 Volk VR G2s (current)

those offsets make baby jesus cry. I **** it

This weekend I plan on going lower so once that happens, I'll post pictures of the new ride height and wheels blah

    on to pictures:

    First day:

    with dad's old whip:

    with the alufelgens:

they barely cleared the brake kit lol:

    installing the exhaust:

    yeah theres no muffler there

    advans anyone?

now the most recent pictures. smile

so I had a rollbar, and planned on doing a full interior thing (seats/harnesses/etc) but my dad and I are now building an E46 ///M track car so I got rid of it. The 135i is going to be a street car strictly now so on to slammage if possible lol.

also, here are some previous rides of mine/cars that used to sit around my house:

    the first car:

    then my other honda:

    had GC on it too:

the car I really regret not having anymore:

    lol interior

I actually drove it around like that for awhile. Something was wrong with the passenger seat brackets I ordered and I couldn't make it fit lol

    little low?

dad's old car at the track:

    dad's new car:

he has since gone back to stock wheels and gone lower.
I hope you guys enjoy it, let me know what you think.

next summer I hope to start an E30 project I'll update that too whenever it starts
    Thanks!

Thanks man. The GC's were awesome on the civic, they actually rode better than stock and handled awesomely, I never had any problems with them either. They were just regular single adjustable Koni yellows strut inserts.

WOW! All those cars by college age, do you think your parents have room for another person in the house . Awesome cars man, personally I would like to see BBS LMs on your 135i. Looks awesome though man.

well probably not anymore, we/they just moved to a smaller house since I'm basically gone now and I do have a little brother lol. I think my next project after running the volks for awhile (and saving a shitton) will be trying to fit some LMs on there, they are my favorite wheels of all time but the offsets they are made in don't accommodate the extremely conservative offsets that will only work on the 1er. Not a problem for most of you guys but I'm new to the game, I have a lot to learn about fitment

You could always get the LMs redrilled to get correct offsets, also I would check out memoryfab.com or something similar, they have used LMs and such.
