I'll just start answering anyway...
I don't currently attend UConn, I just live close by.
I graduated in December '07 on the 4.5 year plan
I didn't have the grades to get into NEAG, nor the grades to get into Sacred Heart's School of Ed,
but SHU has a GPA waiver if you aren't too far under the cut off.
So they had me take two more classes at UConn last spring.
(That's right, I basically had a four year senior year...)
Now I have an internship at a middle school in norwich which pays for my night classes at SHU in griswold, hence the addition of the tdi
I was referring to the OP but thats an interesting story none the less. Sounds like stuff is rolling in the right direction for you now. Props for wanting to be a teacher!
And things weren't ever really going poorly for me besides my 1.7 1st semester GPA, which haunted me until now...
I'm a slacker when it comes to schoolwork, but if I wasn't I don't think college would have been as much fun. I never pulled an all nighter to study, was never really stressed around midterms or finals, I was an english major and I never sold my books back because I haven't read them yet. I plan on teaching high school english, and I honestly cannot wait to actually start doing so.
i am a freshman in the honors program to answer your question though, its a nice place but i had a tendon surgery on my writing hand thats going to take a couple months of therapy which has been a real pain in the ass. besides that its a lot of work but its cool otherwise, what year are you at penn?
