        I'll just start answering anyway...
I don't currently attend UConn, I just live close by.
I graduated in December '07 on the 4.5 year plan
I didn't have the grades to get into NEAG, nor the grades to get into Sacred Heart's School of Ed,
but SHU has a GPA waiver if you aren't too far under the cut off.
So they had me take two more classes at UConn last spring.
(That's right, I basically had a four year senior year...)
Now I have an internship at a middle school in norwich which pays for my night classes at SHU in griswold, hence the addition of the tdi

OP said he's only been here for a few months and he lives in Buckley, so I'm guessing 1st semester, unless he transferred in...

My advice to everyone is to stay in college as long as possible!

A lot of the teachers i work with are jealous that I even just live near UConn

And things weren't ever really going poorly for me besides my 1.7 1st semester GPA, which haunted me until now...

I'm a slacker when it comes to schoolwork, but if I wasn't I don't think college would have been as much fun. I never pulled an all nighter to study, was never really stressed around midterms or finals, I was an english major and I never sold my books back because I haven't read them yet. I plan on teaching high school english, and I honestly cannot wait to actually start doing so.
