what springs did you use/ have seen that are cut and work?

    also, what shocks?
i'm not so good at the sping rates... now i'm runing with sportline springs, which are stiffer than the OEM, 2 coils cutted, the shocks are sportline too. This winter i'll take shorter struts and then i'll cut one more coil or 1/2 coil, i'll see...

how low does your car sit?

is the handling in performance situations still good?

projektzwo, do you know the part number for your sportline springs front and rear because there were about 4 or 5 different spring types?

                  the front options are:
                  124-321-42-04 (400e sportline springs)
                  124-321-30-04 (tallest available)
                  124-321-29-04 (second tallest of 4)
                  124-321-28-04 (second shortest of 4)
                  124-321-27-04 (shortest of 4)

                  the rear options are:
                  124-324-36-04 (400e tall)
                  124-324-28-04 (400e short)
                  124-324-28-04 (300e tall)
                  124-324-23-04 (300e short)

I can't thank you enough for your help, I really appreciate it. Just want to get my stance perfect like yours. I'm in love with that look lol

true true, but those select few of us that rock a three pointed star on our hood are faced with many more challenges when it comes to parts than pretty much everyone else lol

                    we are diehards!

i don't know the part number of my springs...
but in your case it's easy to make decision, beacuse you want to go as low as possible, then just get the 300e shortest ones.
the 400e are stiffer than the 300e and the simply will not drop the car as much as the 300e ones will...

and sorry about my bad English...

the only reason i brought up the 400e ones was because they are so much stiffer and could probably handle being cut but what you are saying makes sense.

do you think the short 300e's would be stiff enough to handle some cutting?

bla bla bla... bags are for 40's

@conski - you're right about that the 400e are stiffer, and actually will be better to get the 400 ones. But if you want and if you can - check out the 400e and the 300e spring's rates and we'll see...

okay. some h&r springs just presented themselves to me and they are a super good deal so i am going pick those up and trim a couple coils off of them for the time being then look into the 300/400e sportline springs as a permanent solution.
