is the handling in performance situations still good?

projektzwo, do you know the part number for your sportline springs front and rear because there were about 4 or 5 different spring types?
the front options are:
124-321-42-04 (400e sportline springs)
124-321-30-04 (tallest available)
124-321-29-04 (second tallest of 4)
124-321-28-04 (second shortest of 4)
124-321-27-04 (shortest of 4)
the rear options are:
124-324-36-04 (400e tall)
124-324-28-04 (400e short)
124-324-28-04 (300e tall)
124-324-23-04 (300e short)
I can't thank you enough for your help, I really appreciate it. Just want to get my stance perfect like yours. I'm in love with that look lol1990 Mercedes 300CE- 24 valve

i don't know the part number of my springs...
but in your case it's easy to make decision, beacuse you want to go as low as possible, then just get the 300e shortest ones.
the 400e are stiffer than the 300e and the simply will not drop the car as much as the 300e ones will...
and sorry about my bad English...

do you think the short 300e's would be stiff enough to handle some cutting?1990 Mercedes 300CE- 24 valve

@conski - you're right about that the 400e are stiffer, and actually will be better to get the 400 ones. But if you want and if you can - check out the 400e and the 300e spring's rates and we'll see...
