here is a pic of my car. please excuse how dirty it is lol

Since this pic I have put on slightly stretched tires (215/40/18 on 8J) I have eibach springs, wheel spacers, euro headlamps, and clear side markers on the way. Then I am going to fab up a supercharger system for the M104. Have it all planned out just need to acquire parts

let me know what you think

First off is the stance, gonna go with eibach or h&r springs, with wheel spacers. Then eventually new rims. I am picking up a set of euro headlamps with the yellow fog lights and some clear side markers. Then after all that is sorted I have drawn up plans for a centrifugal supercharger system for my m104 that will put me up to about 350rwhp

Also, your coupe is super clean.

projektzwo....was there anything special you had to overcome with the w124 coupe when stancing it?

was it difficult to roll your fenders?

How low will it get on springs?

it will drop between 1.5" to 2" on springs. it already has bilsteins. the issue with the old benz's is that there is a lack of aftermarket parts for it. if you want anything for it you have to make it yourself or have it custom made. nobody makes a coilover kit which sucks so i am limited to h&r or eibach springs. those springs do a nice job eliminating that huge unnecessary wheel gap though lol

my fenders are still not rolled, but when i run with spacers, deff will need...
but this depends on that how much do you want to pull out your rims, because you can make your own rear adjustable camber arms and with some nice stretch the fitment will be on point i think...
also i think that no matter what spring kit will you buy you will be not satisfied with the result, because there isn't springs for our 124's which lowers more than 40mm, which means - cut is the deal!

arrgghhh, I really wanted to avoid cutting but 40mm is just not enough!

no problems about cutting, just get the proper shocks when you cut the springs, otherwise you will feel the "bouncy ride"

what about the issue of progressively wound springs? ...I think that is what it is called, where the spring doesn't have the same stiffness throughout

what springs did you use/ have seen that are cut and work?

                              also, what shocks?
