Perhaps one of the most spectacular aspects of the car community is its global saturation. Car enthusiasts emerge from every country, far and wide. During a vacation trip to Bali, Indonesia in the spring of this year, photographer and StanceWorks former-feature car builder Wade Lambert made an effort to explore the depths of the car community during his travels.
Immediately following SEMA, the Bag Riders crew and their illustrious E92 set out for the Arizona desert. The Bag Riders E92 made its initial debut back in 2010, and has since transformed into a community favorite, most recently spotted in the streets of Ocean City, Maryland sporting a RedBull livery. This time around, the crew has toned things down. To celebrate the car’s latest iteration, the gang wanted to capture the car not only in photos, but in video.
At first glance, it’s impossible to understand what makes Ollie Young’s E36 one of the most impressive feats of perseverance and ambition I’ve yet to witness. Its first impressions insist upon justification, and moreover begs the question – what makes this truly torn-apart E36 different from any other drift missile out there? The answer, however, lies in the subtlety hiding behind the garish (skin? Damage?).
