Opening the curtains on Sunday morning to the glorious spring sunshine, the anticipation of the first StanceWorks meet of 2013 began to grow hugely. We set off in a bright yellow K-swapped DC2, headed for The Quadrant, excited to kick off the show season. However, slowly the weather began to turn; a light sprinkling of rain, followed by heavier showers, then sleet, and then to much dismay, snow began to fall.

Back in February StanceWorks started to make its presence known in the UK holding its very first meet in a car park in Milton Keynes. Exactly eight months and four meets later, Ace Café in London was graced with the fifth and final installment of the 2011 calendar with a superb end of year gathering to close off the show season.
Thankfully for car enthusiasts across the UK, the depressing British winter is starting to make the transition in to the depressing British spring. This means we can start to bring our projects out of winter-mode, and meet up in car parks to take photos and chat, without fear of contracting pneumonia.
Ashamedly not spending enough time in the regional UK section of the Stanceworks forum, I first heard about this meet through word of mouth.
