We’re finally here. It’s Friday. We’ve worked towards it all week, and have earned it, no doubt. We’re excited to share the second half of Peter Aylward’s shots from the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and if beautiful imagery wasn’t enough, the incredible tire smoke content is sure to help. Enjoy, stay tuned for our Monday feature, and as always, be sure to check out more of Peter’s work at PeterAylward.co.uk and on Instagram at @PeterAylward.
So they say, spring is just around the corner, and following that, we arrive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed: an annual event that sets the bar automotive events, worldwide. Race cars from every corner of the globe, and of every specialty, take their shot at a hillclimb run up Lord March’s twisting and meandering driveway, now made famous by the event itself.
Okay… enough waiting. Here’s the rest of the “good things”: more top-tier photography of the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, courtesy of the talented Peter Aylward. Be sure to follow him on Instagram at @peteraylward and check out his website: www.peteraylward.co.uk.
“Good things come to those who wait,” or so they say at least. It piggy-backs on the sentiment of “patience is a virtue,” and while both seem nonsensical when in the throes of restlessness, it does ring true on at least some occasions. Peter Aylward returns once again, this time with imagery from the 77th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, an event hosted exclusively for members of the Goodwood Road Racing Club and its fellowship.
The Goodwood Revival – 2018 – Part I – by Peter Aylward
Mike BurroughsPeter Aylward returns once again, this time with imagery from the 2018 Goodwood Revival, an event hosted exclusively racing machines from the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s, complete with attire and festivities to match. The event exists to revive the sights, sounds, and sensations of a time in motor racing that once was.
