Just over a week ago, we hosted our second Open House at the StanceWorks Headquarters, as a celebration of sorts for 10 years of automotive content and community. As the fourth “major” event we’ve hosted at the shop (PRE/GRID and our Open Houses, for those counting), it surpassed any and all expectations. With a start time of 11:00AM, the lot was full before the event had a chance to begin.
10 years is an incredible milestone, one I never expected to reach. It’s more than a third of my life thus far, and in this past decade, I’ve met more incredible people than most will ever have the opportunity or fortune to be blessed with. It was seven years ago that StanceWorks made the move to Southern California, cementing ourselves into the community with a brick-and-mortar homestead.
At StanceWorks, we try to share a little bit of everything. From modern to classic, and subdued in nature to over-the-top: if it excites us, it earns a place on the StaceWorks homepage, and that’s how it’s always been. However, it’s hard to suggest that it’s anything compares to the excitement, the history, and the character of vintage motorsports… in our opinion, at least.
For years, we’ve worked to bring the StanceWorks community together. We’ve hosted our fair share of shows, from “Project 512” and the Avila Motoring Invitational, to Air Affair and “Stance of the Union” on more than one occasion; however, they all stand with a degree of separation from the heart of StanceWorks itself.
After 5 years and two different locations in Southern California, the time has finally come – we’re proud to announce our first-ever Open House. Join us on Sunday, June 26th, for an afternoon of cool cars, good people, and quality shop talk at the StanceWorks Headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.
Located at 861 W18th Street, Costa Mesa, we’re opening the StanceWorks shop doors to all.
