Since the latest StanceWorks project made its debut, we’ve been waiting for the chance to share it in best Hoonigan fashion possible: an episode of Build Biology. As the Hoonigan crew puts it: “We’ve been following our friend Mike Burroughs’ builds for years, from Rusty Slammington to his previous Model A project. But this – this is some next level work. Mike’s 2018 SEMA build is a Ford Model A based, supercharged, Coyote Powered monster of a pickup truck.

Just over a year ago, we met with Brian Scotto of Hoonigan at their Long Beach compound to photograph the Napalm Nova. As one of our favorite feature cars of the past 12 months, we’re excited to bring it back into the spot light for one last “hurrah!” Although we’ve heard the beast sports a new heart with far more power. Perhaps we need to pay another tire-roasting visit to the Hoonigan HQ.

Head Hoonigan in charge, Ken Block, has taken his penchant for killing tires and created his most cinematic film to-date. Piloting his world-famous Ford Fiesta RX43, Block decimates its Toyo tires through the high-scale city infrastructure and into the exotic desert of Dubai. When 200+mph supercars, driving on two wheels and 1000+hp is hardly out of the norm, you can say Block had to pull out all the stops. Call our bluff.

This past weekend, the Hoonigan team opened their doors to Southern California’s classic BMW enthusiasts. As their second run at their newly-established “Hoonigan Club Days,” each event caters to a new marque and niche. This time, they welcomed out everyone with an affinity for roundels and burnouts. Unable to let such a Saturday slip by, we went to Long Beach and joined in on the fun.

Most look at Black Friday as a day to cash in on killer deals and maybe even fight a stranger over a discounted toaster oven. Hoonigan’s Black Friday may have a different take on the “holiday” but it doesn’t lack any of the chaos.  Nissan and Hoonigan paired up to take over the abandoned Hawthorne Mall in Los Angeles, CA using Chris Forsberg and Ryan Tuerck each piloting a 1000 horsepower 370z, to shred a path of destruction.
