It was nearly two years ago that Rusty was finally unveiled: the cover was pulled back and the latest iteration of a car-turned-legend was shared with the world at SEMA, 2015. However, two years of hard work was poured into the car, only to be followed by nearly two years of radio silence, relegating the car to borderline secrecy, short of the occasional public appearance.

It was nearly two years ago that word of Joe Rodriguez’s creation came to our attention. When a car earns the regard of the gentlemen at BMW, it’s sure to be special in every way, and for Joe’s car, that was just the case. Through word of mouth, trackside at Laguna Seca, our friends at BMW told of us of a build that rivaled BMW’s own; one that scrutinized the details in the name of authenticity and perfection.
In perhaps the only video we’ve been more anxious for than the long-awaited release of “32 Hours 7 Minutes,” the team at Stereoscreen has produced “Adrenaline – The BMW Touring Car Story.” Yesterday, the latest trailer for the upcoming movie landed on Vimeo, and we have to say, we couldn’t possibly me more excited.
The film takes a look at BMW’s charismatic drivers and fascinating racing cars from five decades.
