LOL jace... shoulda been like - yeah 40 offset drops to 20 offset with wider 2" lips, but 2.5" its like 15 offset which will sit flush.. but if you want usdm, need less dish, or if you want mexi poke need 3" dish which will offset the offset.. .... .. get it?

Don't SSR weld their inners and outers together, making them pretty much 2-piece anyway? Barrel + centre.

I've never mucked around with SSR wheels before but I'm guessing you can have the inners and outers machined out to have them separated, then have new lips made for them? Whitehorse Ind would know this haha.
