at original pic credit. That original is terrible....
I'm going to say not too much considering what it started as. How did you avoid adding unbelievable amounts of noise on a low res jpeg? (even on a high res raw file it's be hard not to add noise to that)
Haha, well I like to show credit if I didn't take the original pic. To avoid noise I used the Noise Ninja plugin, it works very well for stuff like this. I also isolated just the blue channel (much less noise than brightening the whole photo) and overlayed it to increase the brightness while using data already captured in the pic rather than just raising the brightness.

That was my guess, screen layers and noise ninja. Still good job keeping it noise free, noise ninja really does "smooth over" photos though, they seem to lose a lot of detail. Not sure the best way to explain it, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
