Mojo, what lens do you use? I feel like a lot of your pictures are a little soft... You use a D50 right? Maybe its that, i noticed the same thing when i had that body.

Was it soft even when using a nicer lens? Mine is a Sigma 18-200mm, which I know is pretty terrible at any focal length. I'm trying to decide whether I need a new body or a better lens to sharpen things up.

I never really used any super nice lenses with the D50 like I have now with the D300, but I did have the 50mm 1.8 and it was pretty fucking sharp. I'm thinkin it may be the glass your using, but i don't know anything about the 18-200 you have.
