damn lots of good shots on this page.. so here's background to this photo - my girlfriend's mom asked if I'd take a photo of her flowers for her against her freshly painted bedroom walls.

Here's what I came up with



Nikon D300, 1/50 @ f2.8 +1/3EV, iso 200, 50mm says my exif, but I'm pretty sure I was using my 85mm..

here it is for bigger than my macbook can handle...... it should resize for most monitors automatically..

much better. it needs a bit of exposure or shadow detail in my opinion. you could also add a vignette to the photo to supplement the blown out sky to the upper right corner.
