    used 28 -135 goes for less than $200 on ebay.. new they go for $400..
    i had one, its a nice lens, but a tad slow with the auto focus; the 17-40 is great for $600.. as for a going back to a kit lens.. fck that.. ur better off with a 24-70L or something..

      Where are you finding a 17-40 for $600? The cheapest I see is $750.

          ive seen a few on POTN go for around $600.. i originally wanted one, but i got a 10 -22 instead.. lul..

            I had one, sold it for the 10-22. They're both strong lenses, but the 10-22 has a lot more utility for a crop body.

            I'd say the 17-40 had better glass though. I could really tell a difference in quality between the 2. Could've been because of the L glass, or it could have been a placebo.

              the 17- 40 has better glass, the 10 - 22 quality isnt bad at all.. but id rather have the red ring
