Back in July I picked up a Fuji X100S as I wanted a more portable (yet high quality) camera that I would use more often, hoping that would help me improve my ability. I absolutely LOVE the camera, and even in my truly amatuer hands I'm very satisfied with the images I've been able to produce so far. I mostly wanted to start this to see if others on here have done any automotive photography with it so that we can talk and learn from each other on some of the features and differences between this and the more common DSLRs out there. Here are a couple of my shots that I've done of cars so far. Not my best work, but I'm learning.

It's also worth noting that I just started using Lightroom 5 for the first photo below and consider myself a total newbie to post processing. Anyway, this is NOT just meant to be for my shots. Please post your own, too!

I bought the X100 on launch day and adore it. It's the only camera I take on travel with me. I rented the xpro1 system with several lenses over the summer and second shot a wedding to test the system out and I truly love the system. One day I'll make the switch. My only two issues with the x system is the battery life and the sensor for the HVF in full sun is very problematic.

    Nice shots.

Battery life is pretty poor, but at $10 each I picked up a couple of spare batteries and they're easy enough to pocket when I'm out. I almost always have one on me just in case and even when shooting a ton of images I've never burned through two batteries.

I figured once I get more settled in with the camera I might consider the Xpro1 as a future purchase to compliment the X100S.

If you have any vehicle shots with yours post 'em up!
