Been making videos ever since i was into bmx way back in the day. love shooting cars, here is a video i shot with a steady hand and a hero3 go pro. those are the only cameras i have because we just used them generally for highway pulls and the drag strip

i want to film a crisper video, and use some kind of dolly to help me be steady and shoot a semi professional video. i just don't know where to start or look. i know just about nothing when it comes to cameras, but love doing this kind of stuff.

any help on what to buy next would be appreciated.

Great video. You have a lot of potential man. I don't know a whole lot about videography but i know many use the t2i as a decent starter camera and a couple prime lens which can help you get that crisper video your looking for. Good dslr dolly's can range from $200-$500 and can be found on ebay and a variety of other sites.

Yea it's pretty good for video aswell. Look up a few video tests for t2i. Dslr's let you control the depth of field a lot better than most camcorders in the t2i's price range. If you do get a dslr i'd recommend a lens that has image stabilization which is a must when filming video. Although a t3i was used in this video, it would be nearly identical to the type of quality you could get from a t2i: http://vimeo.com/47254144
