Yeah I have to buy a kit because I have no lenses.. I am gunna see what deal are around though whatever I buy from though will certainly be with bing cashback.

the 3.6 vs 8 fps really won't matter a whole lot, even if your doing motosports. The only other discernible difference is the case and the size of the camera. IMO, just get the T2i and get some good glass.

You'll be able to shoot at f2.8 rather than f4-6 or whatever, and it will help you get the right shots. Glass is just as important as the body imo.

Glass is more important in the end. You put crappy glass on a high end camera it will be lacking.

Indeed, none the less I have decided to go with the 7D, as I now have a job I will be able to get some better glass in the near future.
