  • SqueakyClean Car Culture

It all started off with a group of friends sending out a few texts to meet up every week or so, park up and talk cars. As the group got progressively bigger, gatherings started to become more organised and more of a regular occurrence. We soon realised making sure everyone knew was becoming a task in itself, somebody being left out of the group text or hadn't heard about it through the grape vine was becoming common, so we came up with an idea to create a Facebook page. This way everyone would know about the next location, time etc.

Also, it's a great place to upload photo's of the cars and the places we go. We have started doing the odd feature now too as we feel this is the direction it's going, at the same time not forgetting the meets. We started organising these "Cars and Coffee" style meets which have gotten a great response. These are usually held during the day which give off less of an "underground boyracer" vibe and is seen as more of a group of enthusiasts meeting up for a Sunday spin.

There's great diversity within the group. It ranges from Italian Exotica, to hardcore JDM hatches, and a few low and slow German makes. The great thing about this is that everybody has an appreciation and respect for all makes of cars and makes it more interesting. In the future, there is a possibility of a blog and going down that route but at the same time the main reason for this is as a tool for a community of friends to interact, and that's what it's all about.

Would greatly appreciate if you took the time to have a look at the page and give us a like and keep yours eye on the page for events, meets and upcoming features

    Thanks fellow car enthusiasts

Looks like you've started a great group of people! I also think the watermark is clean and effective, but maybe relocate it because it takes away from some of your shots when it's square in the middle. (Or change the opacity so it blends in a little more).

Other then that the shots are looking good! Maybe toy around with the shadows and highlights a little, and they'll look great.

Best of luck to future meets and features guys!
