Haven't really done a whole lot of automotive stuff lately... Been too busy keeping up with my other job and school. Here's a non-automotive photo that I recently did...
"We Must Let You Move Forward" - photographed by Ricky Shull
First photo in a series that has yet to be titled. With this image, I challenged myself to personify the lyrics of Tonight Alive’s song, Amelia. If you read the lyrics, you’ll understand that it is a very sad song about loved ones and remembrance. I took a double exposure so that I could give the girl a ghostly figure and imply that she is one who’s passed away. Instead of it being a best friend who died, I changed the characters to be a little more open to interpretation…. I chose the location to have the dead trees, but have just the slightest bit of color left in them. I’m really proud of this work because it is my first project that I’ve taken on where I have truly stepped out of my comfort zone. Tonight Alive is also my favorite band and their music has such a deep meaning and relevance that I wanted to immortalize it in a different medium.
Here's a good bunch of pictures from the recent past. Finally had a gap between work and school to go shoot, then had to wait again because my computer went kaput. Back and running again with a new computer so now I can finally get these pictures going.
