I just started photog stuff recently too. Playing alot with night shots. I have the canon t3i with the kit lens. Same lens you got with the nikon if I looked it up right. Anyways. I really like the two first (night) shots. Wondering what technique/settings you used to get that picture?

this is the exif for the first one, the blue slantnose porsche.

Flash : No Flash


just iso 800 with some nice overhead lighting from his workshop light. nothing special used.

again just used the light over the car. nothing extra. didnt even expect these to turn out so nice (at least to me).
