  • Stanceworks magazine i made

    Hi guys!

Little has been happening on the car front over here, so i thought i'd share something else!
Wasn't sure if this was the right place for the post, tell me if it is not and were.

Basically this was a school assignment i did about 8 months ago. I am studying to be a graphic designer.

We could basically make anything we wanted, so i chose to make a paper edition of my favorite website! It has 12 pages, that was our max.

The design is real simple and clean, just the way the website is. Featured by some of my favorite cars and posts, i just let the cars speak for themselves.
Kinda regret the Bagriders ad on the back, i just made it in a hurry to fill the last page but it doesn't fit in i think.

My skills have improved a lot since that and i could probably make something better now, but i thought it turned out pretty cool.

Still my teacher was happy and gave me a 5+ out of a maximum of 6. Very pleased with that result to say the least!

    Here is the link! http://issuu.com/yobschieke/docs/stanceworks_yob

Tell me what you guys think.

I used adobe Indesign and Illustrator cs5 btw.

          +1.

Especially if they didn't just rewrite the webpage into a magazine, but rather they had features in there that weren't up on the website,

There could be a 'Build of the Month' section where there would be a summary of a random build on here, and then there could be Submissions, Tips, Promotions for sponsors, etc.

          I'd love it.

              Thanks guys!

I too would subscribe to a stanceworks magazine. They could do 4 issues a year with exclusive stories and builds or somethin. Would be really cool. I'd apply for a job :P

I thought about this a year or two ago but it just kind of passed over and I forgot about it. It would be great to see something like this happen. I would definitely subscribe if it was available.

Very cool. Nice to see fellow design students on here. Love the look of the mag, definitely keeps a clean, simple, proper feel throughout. Cheers man.

As what everyone said I think that a S|W magazine would be awesome to have, the features from the month, tips, tricks, discussions, etc. about cars.

I think it could be a good idea for sure, and awesome work done bensin!
