  • A special type of Photography

New around here but thought id share something that would interest most of you. As a hobby i love to draw cars. i do it after the day has come to an end and its a source of "relaxing" for me.

Personally, i dont just draw any cars, i draw Lowered/Stanced/Static. etc etc, i like to keep in that genere.

so hence im starting to get little sick of drawing for nothing, i wanna draw for something, so if your looking for your car to be drawn up, or a design or idea to be drawn up, i would have no problem doing it !. FOR FREE haha.

But for reall guys, if your looking to have anything drawn up or want some ideas or designs. just post up in here and i would be happy to help !!.

    For example

      you need some practice.
the bumper holes are biggers than headlights..for example

      EX-87 324td e30
      83 318i e30

You have a really interesting style, though I'd love to see you work on reducing smudges and on non-lined paper.
The BMW you've drawn up there is heavily stylised (on purpose or not?) and it suits it well, not sure how you'd handle a curvier car?

My 15minute attempt lol I might actually do one of these properly one day rather than just procrastinating from revision.

To be honest i spend hours on trying to teach my self curvier cars. im getting much better than i use to be but its still a struggle. its "over stylized" kus thats just how i draw, i spend an hour or so on a drawing, and never are they alike when it comes to "stylizing". i just go with it, im not trying to make a picture perfect drawing, i probs could if i wanted to, but this is just a simple hobby of mine i thought i would share with fellow enthusiasts on this forum !!

                Thanks for looking !

Generally i do 2 stages of drawing as you can see, i try to do solid lines and work from there, get the general shape of the car, i do not trace, yet you are not the first one to ever say that to me.

Must appreciate your effort, but only putting effort is no going to be enough it needs some pore skills as well. You are the exact man for this stuff. Good luck and hats off!

Ah no, never said you were over stylising! I'm an illustrator and I love to stylise things. Its all part of the fun! Things I struggle with I just slow down hugely and try to take 20 minutes plus on just getting the shape right.

like I said before, I'd love to see some on nonlined paper, and i'd especially like to see what you could do with an ink pen.

Also dont forget its common courtesy to ask photographers first if its ok to render their art as the basis for your drawings. Some dont care, and others take it very seriously so just be careful especially if you get to where you start selling your artwork.
