  • How do you keep your photos organized?

Title says it all, I need to rethink how I name and organize my photos when I upload them to my pc so what do you guys do?

I work in adobe bridge. edit the raw file, save as tiff. then process if needed in photoshop. safe as a new tiff. thats about it. and keep all that in one folder.

    and flickr "sets" works well.

I usually arrange by event and if it's not an event, then by date. Anything else gets dropped into the "Random" folder.

Used to be imported into Aperture, edit then export into an 'Upload' folder with the date as the label.

Moved to Lightroom and let it do its stuff to import, organise into dates then save the edited copies in a subfolder called Upload afterwards.
