not a huge fan of the fake rain and and the dark cloud sky shots.. but i do love the shots.. i would love to see one of an old hot rod or an e30 with some lightning making light on the car..
great work tho!!

yea the fake rain in the kid shot was to hide the real rain that was actually popped by the lights when I shot it. Parents like the cheesy stuff, and dont worry my wife hates my goofing off doodling probably more than anyone.......I think her favorite word lately is stupid lol. Sometimes I just do weird stuff goofing off just to stretch my legs in layering and blending, and it gets out of hand.....but never hurts to be able to do something even if it is goofy. Most of my work is editorial and 95% of the magazines dont want anything creative so I am always fighting boring front 3/4 angles with editors. Also Art Directors want to see different stuff in your portfolio not just 100 pictures exactly the same just a different subject. The days of just straight photography in your portfolio getting you work is almost over, and you have to bring something new to the table. I personally think overly HDR'd photos are shit, but if I could get a dollar from everyone who likes them I would be a billionaire. ......ok enough talk more pictures
I am in Wisconsin the next few days shooting at the Ring Brothers so hope to have some cool pics of that next week
